22 ciudadanos y ciudadanas hispanoamericanos y ecuatoguineanos reciben estas becas de formación y colaboración, destinadas a todas las academias de la lengua española, en el marco del Programa ASALE 2024/2025,
La Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID) publicó el 31 de julio en su Sede Electrónica la concesión de 22 becas MAEC-AECID para ciudadanos hispanoamericanos y ecuatoguineanos, correspondientes al Programas ASALE para el curso 2024-2025.
En 2022 se firmó un convenio entre la AECID y ASALE que dio lugar a la redefinición del Programa. En esta, su tercera edición desde entonces, el coste Programa es de 487.000,00 € a repartir en los próximos dos ejercicios.
El Programa ASALE (Asociación de Academias de la Lengua Española) se enmarca en la estrecha colaboración existente entre la AECID, la Real Academia Española (RAE) y las Academias que integran con ella la ASALE. Está destinado a ciudadanos de Iberoamérica, Estados Unidos, Filipinas y Guinea Ecuatorial para realizar el Máster de Lexicografía Hispánica y Corrección Lingüística que convoca RAE-ASALE en la Escuela de Lexicografía Hispánica, título propio de la Universidad de León, y para su posterior periodo de prácticas asociadas al máster. La beca incluye además una estancia de colaboración formativa en la academia del país de origen en el ámbito de la lingüística, lexicografía y filología, con especial atención a los proyectos panhispánicos conjuntos de la ASALE.
Se han concedido becas a un total de 22 a ciudadanos procedentes de Argentina (1), Bolivia (1), Chile (1), Colombia (1), Costa Rica (1), Cuba (1), Ecuador (1), El Salvador (1), Guatemala (1), Guinea Ecuatorial (1), Honduras (1), México (1), Nicaragua (1), Panamá (1), Paraguay (1), Perú (1), Puerto Rico (2), República Dominicana (1), Uruguay (1), Venezuela (2).
Con la presente concesión del Programa ASALE, la AECID fortalece no solo las capacidades individuales de los interesados, sino también de las 22 Academias de la Lengua Española. Además, consolida a España como un país de referencia para realizar estudios de posgrado.
